CABA training courses are held in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds and Bristol and are suitable for past and present ICAEW members and their families working at any level within the public, voluntary, corporate and private sector.

Our Courses

As a follow-on course to introduction to mindfulness, this day focusses on practicing and experiencing mindfulness and/or improving your mindfulness meditation aptitude.

Positive ageing and resilience training is a project designed to support older people to increase their resilience to the challenges that can be experienced in later life.

The way you react to challenges and setbacks is a reflection of how resilient you are. Our building your resilience course explores the tools you need to develop a resilient mindset and attitude. 

This course will ensure that as a manager or leader, you’re able to support your team by recognising when they are stressed and why and to be able implement strategies to develop their resilience and improve their wellbeing and performance.

Develop the capacity to be resourceful and effective, enabling you to be heard, respected and productive, both personally and professionally.

Shows how you can boost your impact and become more effective, confident and persuasive by discovering, creating and developing your own personal brand.

Explores ways of becoming more adaptable and better able to cope with changes, both in and out of the workplace.

Reveals how you can achieve both personal and professional success by having a more adaptable mindset.

Shows you how to analyse your use of time and looks at strategies to improve your planning and time management, increasing your effectiveness and confidence.

Understand the concept of mindfulness and how to use techniques that will enable you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings so that instead of being overwhelmed by them, you're better able to manage them.

Shows you ways of developing your emotional intelligence (EI), leading to increased self-awareness and improved relationships.

Supports you to develop a positive, flexible and proactive attitude towards progressing your career.


Helps you to identify the actions you need to take to ensure you enjoy and make the most of your retirement.

Focussing on the emotional aspects and impact of ageing, this course will support you to take care of your emotional wellbeing helping you to get the most out of this chapter of your life.

Online personal and professional development courses

CABA offer personal and professional development courses for those living outside the UK, in remote areas of the UK, or those with learning styles that are not supported by group interaction. Courses are free to access.
