Data Analyst

  • Salary details: £29,500- £32,500 per annum dependant on experience

your role at caba 

Gather, organise, and translate data from relevant data sources into reliable information to provide comprehensive analysis, enabling the business to drive the strategy forward and accomplish its objectives.

Ensure the integrity of the data held within caba’s systems, including CRM, whilst helping teams and individuals make the most out of their data.

your key responsibilities 

  • Fulfil routine and one-off data and insight requests from various teams and working groups to combine, visualise, and analyse data from multiple sources and build reports to support operational and strategic working.
  • Support the Business Analyst to develop and maintain data models in different platforms including Excel and PowerBI, and create reports and dashboards to enable effective analysis to improve the overall quality of day-to-day business decisions.
  • Contribute to the overall integrity of caba’s database by leading importing and cleansing tasks of large amounts of quantitative data, undertaking regular maintenance and supporting others who are regularly involved in data integrity and data cleansing.
  • Produce clear and concise reports for a variety of internal audiences. Document processes clearly.
  • Work with the Data Working Group and Insight & Impact team to provide recommendations and expertise to guide data-driven organisational decisions.

to be successful, you’ll have:  

  • ability to bring in, take out and reconcile data to enable its transference into relevant and useful information
  • ability to build multi-layered reports from scratch, including appropriate formula and coding skills
  • excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • communication skills including the ability to write reports, briefs or simply short, explicative texts regarding data analysis; communicate verbally and have productive conversations with colleagues
  • strong problem-solving skills with an open-minded approach
  • ability to thrive in a busy, sometimes pressured, environment and deliver against agreed deadlines
  • desire and willingness to learn new skills such as coding languages, to continuously improve and upskill

experience:

  • demonstrable experience of data migration and cleansing
  • demonstrable experience working with and analysing datasets
  • demonstrable experience of using Power BI to create reports and dashboards
  • experience communicating what data is showing across various levels of the business
  • experience problem solving, identifying issues within the data and working them through to resolution
  • experience communicating with stakeholders with varying levels of analytical or technical knowledge
