From the moment you begin your training, throughout your professional life and into retirement we can help. Our services are free, impartial and strictly confidential. You don’t have to donate to us to use them, and we never disclose information about you to anyone. We’re here for past and present ICAEW members, and close family members too.
Winter fuel payments
We understand that you might hesitate to turn up the thermostat if you're worried about how to pay the bills. That's why we're committed to making a fuel payment of £225 each winter to those who need it.
Adaptations and equipment
We have grants and donations available to help pay for home adaptations, respite care, white goods, one-off unexpected expenses and specialist equipment such as mobility aids.
Business start-up support
Thinking of starting your own business? If you’re unemployed or facing redundancy you could qualify for our business start-up fund of up to £2000. You’ll also enjoy all the support you need to get your idea off the ground.
Residential care top up fees
We're now able to offer support with the 'top up' costs of residential care, in some circumstances. Are your services means tested?
Most of CABA's services are not means tested, however, we will consider someone’s income if financial assistance is required.
I am an accountant, but not a member of ICAEW, can you still help?
Our services are available to past and present ICAEW members, their carers and their families.
CABA has supported me in the past; will I be able to receive support from CABA again?
We understand that circumstances change. If you have received advice and support from us in the past there are no time limits or restrictions preventing you from receiving support from us again.
