what's this course about?

Anxiety affects us all in different ways, but whether this is your first experience of anxiety or you've lived with it for a long time, there are many ways to ease those anxious feelings.

It's only natural to feel anxious sometimes. Anxiety is part of our survival system that helps to keep us safe. It's common to experience anxiety when you're coping with big changes or events. However, anxiety experienced long term can become a problem for our mental and physical wellbeing, so it can be useful have techniques that we can use to support ourselves.

In this course you'll consider how anxiety affects you and self-enquiry exercises will help you to reflect and understand your own anxious reactions. You'll practice techniques including breathing, yoga, meditation and deep relaxation to help ease those anxious feelings to regain a sense of control. You'll create a personalised toolkit of practices to take away through discovering the techniques that can work best for you.
