family counselling is available for families facing strain. This includes nuclear and extended families, separated parents, children, and stepfamilies. Relate can support you together or individually.

psychosexual therapy 

Psychosexual therapy can help if you’re experiencing difficulties in your sex life. Relate's qualified therapists can provide guidance and support to help you improve your physical intimacy.

children and young people’s counselling

Children and young people's counselling is for those under 18 experiencing problems. Whether it’s depression, anger, mental health concerns, or issues with family or school, Relate can help. 

 

 

what happens after the 6 sessions are up?

Through caba, you can access up to six sessions of counselling. These sessions will help you to understand challenges and identify methods for overcoming them. Ultimately, providing you with tools to build stronger relationships. Typically, these sessions are better for smaller short-term issues. If you wish to continue seeing your counsellor after the six sessions are up, this will need to be self-funded.

You can still access and apply for our additional services as usual after accessing Relate.

Can I access Relate counselling in person? 

Relate counselling is mostly online. In-person counselling is available in person in some instances, but it depends on the service you require and whether there is a counsellor for that service available in your area. 

Is there a fee?

caba pays for the first six sessions. If you still need support after this, this will be self-funded. Prices vary depending on your area. 

Does Relate see people in LGBTQ+ relationships?

Yes, Relate’s counsellors can help all people, regardless of gender, sexuality, background or ethnicity.
