what you need to know

what is the insight community and the purpose?

The Insight Community is a revamped and improved version of our former Research Panel, created to ensure that caba’s work genuinely reflects the needs of our clients especially those facing hardship or health challenges. This community gives members the opportunity to share their insights, experiences, and challenges directly with us, so that we can design services and communications that are relevant, effective, and truly impactful.

what will I have to do?

As a member of The Insight Community, you’ll help shape the future of our support—for you, by you.

Once you sign up, you’ll get the chance to:

  • Share your voice and lived experiences
  • Take part in quick, easy surveys
  • Join friendly focus groups or interviews
  • Test ideas and give feedback on new services or messages

You can take part as much or as little as you like. Whether you’ve got 5 minutes or 50, your insights will help shape services that really make a difference for people facing hardship or health challenges. Plus, we’ll do our best to make it interesting and even a little fun!

what happens next?

Keep an eye out for communications from us about upcoming opportunities. From surveys to focus groups, or interviews around improvement to our support services – there’s lots of things to get involved in. You don’t have to sign up, but we ask that if you do, you make every effort to come along to the session.

can I take part if I’m not eligible for support?

The community is open to anyone who is an ACA student, past and present ICAEW member, family member and ICAEW staff.

If you’re not one of these and want to be involved, please contact [email protected]

how often will I be contacted?

We’ll only contact you when it matters — no spam, we promise!

You can expect:

  • A regular newsletter with updates, insights, and how your input is making a difference
  • Invitations to take part in research projects, surveys, focus groups, or interviews when opportunities come up

How often that is can vary, but you’re always in control. You can choose what to take part in and how often. No pressure — just your voice, your way.

will it cost me anything?

Nope - it’s completely free to join The Insight Community!

In fact, not only does it cost nothing to sign up or take part, but we also offer small thank-you incentives for some activities, like focus groups or interviews. It’s our way of showing appreciation for your time and insights

can I unsubscribe at any time?

Absolutely - you’re free to leave at any time.

Just drop us a quick message at  [email protected], and we’ll take care of the rest. No hard feelings — we appreciate any time you’ve shared with us!
