ICAEW FOUNDATION AND CABA INSPIRATION AWARDS
The ICAEW Foundation, in association with CABA, has created new Inspiration Awards, to recognise outstanding ACA students.
The awards are open to ACA students worldwide who have demonstrated outstanding or exceptional qualities in overcoming adversity to maintain or complete their studies, thus inspiring others.
The selection panel, who met for the first time in March 2009, was greatly impressed by the outstanding qualities of nominated candidates and it was difficult to select a first prize winner and two runners up. For this reason it was decided to increase the number of awards from three to four and to award four equal prizes of £5,000 each.
On behalf of the ICAEW Foundation and CABA, a huge thank you to the nominators for proposing candidates and our warmest congratulations to the winners of the 2009 awards:
- Andy Cheng
- Richard Cartwright
- Howard Taylor
