We collect and process personal data you provide in your application, including:
- Name, contact details (address, phone, email)
- Employment and volunteering history
- Information regarding relevant networks, such as size, reach and engagement
- Skills, qualifications, and references
- Information relevant to your volunteering role (e.g., availability, access needs)
- Any other information you choose to provide
why do we collect your data?
We use your data to:
- Process and assess your application
- Communicate with you about your application and volunteering opportunities. Including future opportunities where you agree to this
- Meet our legal and safeguarding obligations
- Conduct due diligence
- Maintain records of volunteer recruitment and engagement
- Ensure existing data we hold is accurate

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interests legal obligations, and, where necessary, your consent
how long do we keep your data?
Your data will be retained only as long as necessary for the purposes described, in accordance with our Data Retention and Destruction Policy. If your application is unsuccessful, we will securely delete relevant data after 6 months, unless you ask us to retain this information in order to inform you of future volunteering opportunities. who do we share your data with?
We do not share your data with third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent. Your data may be shared internally with staff involved in volunteer recruitment and management
