Mental health is a fundamental part of your wellbeing. Learn about the factors that influence mental health and recognise signs of problems in yourself and in people around you. What will you get out of it?

Early intervention and starting conversations around mental health is vital if we are to create healthy and resilient individuals. This course will introduce you to the topic of mental wellbeing. It will help to build your awareness of how we can encourage mental wellbeing and support ourselves and colleagues both in and out of the workplace. You will come away with a clear understanding of the early warning signs that indicate a dip in mental wellbeing and how you can respond effectively.

After completing this course you will be able to

  • Understand common mental health difficulties

Our Understanding Mental Health course is suitable for those who would like to understand their own mental health and that of their loved ones and colleagues. You will learn the skills you need to identify and respond effectively to improve your own and others mental health.
