We're looking for Champions on a voluntary basis to help us to raise awareness across the world of our work and make sure past and present ICAEW members and their families understand the support we provide and how they can access it.
It's an opportunity to give something back to the profession, as well as publicising a valuable service for members and their families. I've found that while most members know CABA, many aren't fully aware of the extensive package of services they offer.
The wellbeing of chartered accountants is at the heart of what we do. We're here if things go wrong, providing advice and guidance to help through life's ups and downs. From financial assistance, debt advice, legal advice to supporting carers and help with home adaptations, our services make life easier for chartered accountants across the world and help them to get back on track.
As a CABA Champion we ask you to commit to attending 3 or 4 local events each year. We'll give you notice ahead of the events to help you plan your time and provide a training day each year to support and inspire you in your role. While the positions are unpaid, we'll reimburse your travel expenses.
We recruit new CABA Champions twice a year and interviews for 2019 are being held on Wednesday 20th February and Wednesday 7th August. An induction is arranged for each new Champion at a convenient time, to share everything that's needed for their new role.
