Financial support from CABA can give you peace of mind that the essential medical treatment you and your family need, now and in the long term, is more affordable.
Who is eligible for financial support?*

Ask us about our financial support
Complete an application form telling us about your circumstances. We may also require supporting information in the form of bank statements and proof of the cost of medical bills or equipment. All of our financial support is means-tested. That means we'll take your income, capital and savings, and expenditure into account when assessing whether we can contribute towards your medical costs.
If we're able to provide financial support, the funds will be transferred to your chosen bank account or paid to the relevant provider directly. There's no limit to the number of times we can help, or how long for. In some circumstances we may not be able to offer financial assistance, if this is the case we may be able to help you in another way.
Q. Health care is subsidised in my country. How can CABA help?
There may still be occasions where you're required to contribute to the cost of your care. This could include, paying for prescriptions, glasses, dentistry, complex or advanced medical treatment, home adaptations and residential or domiciliary care. We may be able to help cover these costs.
Q. I already have health insurance. How can CABA help?
Even with insurance, you might have to pay for the services you need first, and make a claim later. Or your insurance may not cover the whole cost. For some, this means relying on credit cards and loans which can lead to problems with debt, particularly if you're unable to work due to your health or caring responsibilities. Talk to us to see if we could help.
Q. I'm a carer for a close family member. Can CABA help us?
Our dedicated carer support team can work with you one to one to help you support your loved one. This could include funding home adaptations or mobility aids to help make everyday tasks easier, funding respite care to enable you to take a break when you need to and support to help you manage your own wellbeing.
