Volunteers are a vital part of the CABA team, supporting and promoting the work and services of the Association.

There are a number of volunteering roles within CABA;

CABA Trustees
CABA is governed by a voluntary Board of Trustees, all of whom are Chartered Accountants. See Role of a Trustee for more details.


CABA Referees
Referees are volunteer Chartered Accountants who visit local CABA Beneficiaries in their own homes and liaise between them and the CABA Financial Support Officers.  In a few special instances, Referees are from other professions - clergy, medical, or other accounting bodies.  See Role of a referee for more details. 

CABA is committed to providing the appropriate training, support and information necessary to enable all Volunteers to undertake their role with confidence.  There is a turnover of volunteers, so we are always interested in recruiting replacements.
