ELIGIBILITY
CABA's help is available to ICAEW members and dependants wherever they live. Former members of ICAEW are able to apply for assistance. ACA students working under a training agreement can also approach CABA for support.
In summary, those eligible for assistance are:
- Existing ICAEW members.
- Their spouse, partner and dependent children.
- Their ex-spouse or partner and children where a continuing dependency can be demonstrated.
- A deceased member’s spouse, partner and dependent children.
- A former member, their spouse, partner and dependent children.
- A former member’s ex-spouse, partner and dependent children.
- A deceased former member’s surviving dependants
Loss of Membership, for whatever reason, does not exclude anyone from support by CABA.
Dependent children are children under 18 and in full-time education. The family of children who are at University will be supported to Degree Level up to the age of 24.
