CAREER Clinics

Many ICAEW members are facing redundancy as a result of the current economic climate.  For some it will be several years since you last searched for a job or even considered your future.

The regions are working in partnership with CABA planning a series of 'career clinics' around the country to support members during these unsettled times.  The clinics are designed to help members consider what they might do in the future and to develop practical job seeking skills.  CABA and the ICAEW are working in partnership, hosting these events.

Events will be run through the Institute's regional network and will be tailored to meet members' needs in the region.  Representatives from CABA will be in attendance to provide information on the different ways in which CABA is able to support Chartered Accountants and their families.

If you would like to attend a career clinic, but are unable to do so for financial reasons, CABA may be able to provide assistance towards the cost of attendance - this may include the course fee, travel expenses, child care or carer costs.  Please call CABA in confidence on 0800 008 7007 to discuss this further.

Dates and venues will follow as more information becomes available.  District Societies will also publicise events taking place in their area.

If you are a ICAEW member and would like to register your interest in attending one of these events or would like further information, please telephone +44(0)1788 556373 or email: careerclinics@caba.org.uk
