CABA APPOINTS NICK BROOKS AS NEW PRESIDENT
SECOND WIND
A Chartered Accountant who just 28 months ago underwent a double lung transplant has won six medals at the European Heart and Lung Transplant Games in Sweden. Nick Condon is an inspiration to us all - to read his remarkable story, click here.
The recent economic downturn has had a major impact on us all and as a result of the current climate many members may be facing redundancy and/or job loss for the first time in their career.
If you are an ICAEW member and are one of the millions of people affected worldwide by job loss, CABA can help you during this unsettling time.
Our Debt Advisors can provide advice on managing credit card debts, loans and mortgage repayments as well as providing assistance with budgeting.
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, we may be able to provide financial support. Each case is looked at on an individual basis and assistance will depend on your individual circumstance.
Whilst there is a lot of information available in the public arena, we appreciate that too much information can be overwhelming. For this reason we have pulled together some key information into a Redundancy Guide, which we hope you will find helpful in the weeks ahead. The document highlights the support available from CABA and ICAEW.
CABA RESPONDS TO THE SEVERE WEATHER CONDITIONS BY MAKING A SPECIAL DONATION TO BENEFICIARIES
Recognising that the severe weather conditions we are experiencing across the UK will have an impact on household expenditure, CABA have made a one-off special donation to many of its beneficiaries. The Trustees and staff at CABA are pleased to be able to channel available resources to those most in need in an effective and appropriate way. Making a special donation during this extremely cold spell will help beneficiaries keep warm and in doing so, improve their wellbeing. CABA also provided beneficiaries with useful tips and contacts to help with saving money on their energy bills.
