Do you have a New Year resolution for 2012? Perhaps you have opted to get healthy and join a gym, or maybe try and put a few more pennies in your savings each month? We are all full of good intentions when January arrives, but many of us fall by the wayside before the month is out.
Whether you make New Years resolutions or not, the below hints and tips will stand you in good stead for the year to come. It is never to late to put in place some new habits and routines to leave you feeling brighter:

Concentrate on your wellbeing
Everywhere you turn people are promoting wellbeing and the benefits of 'this supplement' or 'that superfood'. To some people "wellbeing" may be just one of the latest buzzwords, but don't knock it until you try it!
Wellbeing is not a fad. It is above all else taking time for yourself, keeping mindful of how you are feeling, and giving yourself the chance to regroup. Eat well, keep active, sleep soundly and indulge yourself in your favourite hobbies and you will feel the benefits.

Don't be afraid to reach out
You don't need to wait until a critical point in life to make changes. Choosing to do something is always far more enjoyable than feeling you have no other options. Too many people wait until their health is in trouble, or the bailiffs are knocking on the door. Don't leave it this late.
If you'd like to talk to someone you can contact us 24 hours a day on Live chat or over the telephone on 01788 556366 between 9-5.

Our programme of CABA training courses has been designed to address the issues that are most prevalent in the accounting sector. Whether you are stressed at work or struggling to deal with difficult contacts, our courses can help you in both your professional and personal lives.
The courses run throughout the year across the UK. In 2012 we are offering more dates than ever before so there is no reason not to take part.
Our popular 'Stress Management & Wellbeing' half day course is free of charge to attend for current and former ICAEW members, alongside 'Mind Matters: Tackling Stress at Work for Managers', a new course for 2012.
Our other courses do incur a charge to cover costs, but we do not make a profit on any of the sessions. If you feel you could benefit from a particular course but are currently unwaged or require financial assistance, call us. We may be able to help.
