10. Refund policy

 

Training course bookings

Training booking cancellations made within 14 days of the course will not be refundable. If you are unable to attend a training course, you can send another person in your place - please let us know any changes as soon as possible by contacting the Training & Events team on 01733 556 208 or at training@caba.org.uk.

Training booking cancellations made outside the 14 day period will be fully refunded.

In the event of the course having to be cancelled by CABA, you will receive a full refund of the fee but we disclaim any further liability.

We reserve the right to refuse bookings.

 

Donations

If you have made a donation in error please contact our Finance Team on 01788 556 366 or email accounts@caba.org.uk and they will be happy to refund this for you.

We do not collect any personal data about you through this website unless you fill in an online form. If you fill in an online form, you consent to us processing and storing your personal information (including sensitive personal data where you have volunteered for it) for the purpose of providing CABA's services to you. CABA has very limited access to parts of the membership database of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and we may combine that basic information with the information you give us, so that we can facilitate and improve our services. CABA will not pass on any personal data to a third party unless you give us your express consent or we are under a legal obligation to do so.

 

Keeping your data secure

We employ physical, organisational and systemic security measures to protect information about you from being accessed by unauthorised persons and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage. We will retain your information only for as long as we need to do so and will destroy obsolete information in a secure manner.

We are entitled under the Data Protection Act 1998 to charge a statutory fee towards our costs in providing you with a copy of the information we hold about you. Our Data Protection Officer would be happy to speak with you by telephone initially, if you wish.
