We are looking to increase our current team of nine Trustees to support the continuous development of CABA.
In line with CABA’s overall aim of enabling users to achieve a reasonable quality of life we aim to:
· reduce the impact of financial hardship;
· reduce the impact of physical and mental ill health; and
· enable users to maintain their independence
The following objectives help us to achieve these aims:
· to provide quality support and advice;
· to provide financial support;
· to provide information and signposting; and
· to run training and events.
We are particularly interested in applicants with experience in one or more of:
· marketing and communications
· human resources management
· social work or social services
· charity accounting
· investment management
The positions are unremunerated; reasonable travel expenses can be reimbursed.
The commitment will be to attend 4 Board meetings a year in Rugby, a training day each year and join one of our Committees which meet up to 4 times a year. Commitment is expected to average one day a month.
We are also looking for individuals with experience in the above areas to join a relevant Committee without the responsibility of being a Board member.
