Our career development support includes face to face and online career coaching, career adaptability courses and back to the workplace events run in partnership with ICAEW. These services are completely free of charge for trainee, current and former ICAEW chartered accountants and their immediate family. Find out more below.

Career coaching
If you’re a current or former ICAEW member or an immediate family member* who’s currently out of work or facing redundancy CABA’s free career coaching could make all the difference.

Just ask those who accessed career coaching support in 2013, more than 65% of those who completed the programme went on to gain employment, become self-employed or experience other positive outcomes.

A tailored programme of support is delivered via face-to-face sessions, telephone and online support, our career coaching could see you back at work faster than you thought possible.

Online career support
CABA also offers fully flexible, free online career support to trainee**, current and former ICAEW chartered accountants and their immediate family*who are currently out of work or facing redundancy.

Through this service you will have access to vital tools including a CV builder, interview simulator, career planner and aptitude tests, as well as invaluable access to job vacancy databases, whenever and wherever you need them.

Career adaptability courses
Whether you’re in work, currently unemployed or facing redundancy there are many opportunities to upgrade your career potential with our free CABA courses. Based on the latest innovative research by CABA Vice President, Dr Hilary Lindsay, our courses address various aspects of career adaptability from building your resilience and emotional intelligence to developing your personal brand and understanding the concept of mindfulness – plus lots more. Our courses can help maximise your wellbeing at work and at home.
