Chartered Accountants’ Benevolent Association (CABA)
The Association was founded in 1886 and exists to assist current and former Members of the ICAEW, their spouses, dependant partners and children under 18, their widowed spouses and dependant partners, orphaned children under 18, orphaned children over 18 who have special needs and other dependant persons with special needs.
On 18 October 2006, CABA registered as a company limited by guarantee at companies House, London - Company No 5970606. CABA is governed by a Board of Trustees. The day-to-day work of the Association is carried out by the Chief Executive and Staff. CABA is a Registered Charity - No 1116973.
CABA can now also support students registered with the ICAEW and actively studying for their ACA qualification.. The type of assistance provided depends on individual circumstance and each application for financial support is looked at on an individual basis.
