Kath Haines
Chief Executive
An FCA living in Wigston, Kath joined CABA in 2007 as our Finance and Administration Director, and became Chief Executive in 2009. She trained with Coopers & Lybrand in Leicester, and worked there for 14 years. After that, she spent 11 years in finance positions in major retailers and service companies. Kath moved to the charity sector in 2004, to set up the Finance function of English Churches Housing Group, at the time of their relocation from London to Leicester. She moved to CABA following the merger of English Churches with Riverside Housing.
Wendy Saunders
Head of Strategy & Development
Wendy has worked at CABA for the past five years. She manages the research and development side of CABA’s work, identifying the support needs of ICAEW members and their families and how CABA can best provide support. She also manages the marketing and training teams, ensuring CABA is promoted as widely as possible within the accountancy profession, and enabling the delivery of a range of high quality training courses designed specifically for Chartered Accountants. Wendy has extensive experience of working within the not for profit sector as a consultant, manager and volunteer.
Natalie Worth
Head of Finance & Administration
Natalie came to CABA to introduce the efficient and effective processes and systems that would support the growth of the organisation. Subsequently, in October 2009, she became Head of Finance and Administration. A member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, she is responsible for the finance, facilities, IT and asset management functions. She serves as Secretary for both the Investment Committee and the Audit and Risk Committee. Natalie previously worked in the retail industry, and for a brief time in social housing.
Lindi Dube
Executive Officer
Lindi joined CABA in February 2012 as Executive Officer assisting Chief Executive Kath Haines. Lindi holds an LLB Law (Hons) from DeMontfort University and is studying for both an MSc in Corporate Governance at London South Bank University and a Chartered Secretary Qualifying Scheme Professional Program Part II qualification with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Her previous roles have included Governor Support Officer at Leicester City Council and Governance Administrator at Action Deafness.
Tracey Birch
HR Officer
Tracey joined CABA in August 2007 as an Administrator for the Support after 20 years in retail distributions in Administrator and HR roles. Tracey went on to assist Chief Executive Kath Haines as PA for three years before becoming HR Officer in 2011. Tracey is responsible for providing day to day support and advice to managers and staff on all staffing matters, including Human Resources and Health and Safety policies and procedures. Tracey is a member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
